A rare diamond in the music industry, her passionate voice lures you as she sings from the soul and when she graces the stage she lifts her audience to a special place. A brilliant lyricist and fine guitarist, JoJo writes songs about love and life and colours them with her unique vocal talents, and “Live @ The Blue Birdy” is a collection of original songs and covers that captures the essence of her earthy, soulful voice.
Not to be missed live, JoJo is a dynamic and passionate vocalist with the ability to create an incredible intimacy with her audience. Delivering her music in flavours of Blues, Soul, R&B, Latin, Jazz and Funk, Jo Jo captivates audiences with her weave of lyrical stories and compelling rhythms.

South of the River is a community choir celebrating diversity and harmony through a shared passion for singing. Under the direction of Annemarie Sharry, the choir explores the music and rhythms of Africa , traditional African American gospel and original Australian compositions.
Since forming in 2002 the 35 voice acappella ensemble has inspired audiences with their lively performances at a diverse range of music festivals and venues throughout Victoria , including Apollo Bay , St Kilda and Queenscliff, Melbourne Town Hall , Crown Casino's Grand Palladium Ballroom, Federation Square and The Royal Melbourne Show.
One of our greatest public performances to date was the 2006 ABC Classic FM National Choir of the Year Awards . In July 2006, South of the River won a place in the Victorian State Final of this national "Sing Out" competition. Of the 40 Victorian choirs who participated in the state wide audition process South of the River were one of four finalists selected to "Sing Out" at the Melbourne Town Hall for a place in the national final. This performance was broadcast live across Australia on ABC Classic FM radio on Monday 31st July 2006 . South of the River were thrilled with their place in the finals and enjoyed the rigor and discipline that was required to progress to such a high level in a fierce and highly contested competition.
South of the River love to go out into the community, and as special guests at Jo Jo Smith's CD launch at the Corner Hotel on the 6 th of December, audiences can expect to be treated to spine tingling and toe curling renditions of some of the choirs' favourite songs from their self titled debut album, featuring spirited soloists and the amazing harmonies and rhythms of Africa, Afro-American & traditional gospel, and original Australian compositions. www.southoftheriverchoir.com
